My name is Katrina Allangba, and I am an Instructional Innovation and Curriculum Designer with Strayer University. I primarily support the Graduate School of Business in all phases of the instructional design process from analyzing data to performing administrative functions in the Blackboard learning management system. I love that in my position I am afforded the opportunity to help others learn and to apply my knowledge and skills to solve learning problems every day. My passion for facilitating others’ learning is what led me to pursue my M.Ed in Instructional Design and Development and e-Learning Graduate Certificate from George Mason University. My belief in lifelong learning was the impetus for my decision to pursue an MBA in Project Management from Strayer University. Completing my MBA has enabled me to hone my business acumen, which I believe makes me a better Instructional Designer as well.
On a personal note, one of my favorite activities is reading, and in the past year or so, I’ve taken an interest in painting. I, unfortunately, have not been able to do it as much as I would like, but now that I’m nearing the completion of my MBA in December 2015, I will welcome the extra time to once again put brush to canvas.
Thank you for taking a look around my site! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
